Senate Study Committee on Improving Family Caregiver Services to Hold Second Meeting

ATLANTA (September 10, 2025) - On Wednesday, September 17,2025, at 1:00 p.m., the Senate Study Committee on Improving Family Caregiver Services, chaired by Minority Leader Sen. Harold Jones II (D-Augusta), will hold its second meeting.

ABOUT THE MEETING:

Established pursuant to SR 393, the Senate Study Committee on Improving Family Caregiver Services will address Georgia's rapidly growing senior population by exploring policy goals and legislative actions to better support the state's over 1 million family caregivers, who collectively provide more than 1 billion hours of care each year.
