Motor Vehicle Collision – Investigation: C24-266278

On November 13, 2024, at approximately 9:56 p.m., the Winnipeg Police Service attended to Portage Avenue and Tylehurst Street in regards to a motor vehicle collision involving a pedestrian.

Preliminary information indicates that a female pedestrian in her 30s attempted to cross into eastbound traffic, where she was struck by an oncoming vehicle. The driver remained on scene and cooperated with police. The pedestrian was transported to hospital in critical condition and has since been upgraded to stable condition, with serious injuries.

Traffic Collision Investigators have assumed the investigation, and no charges have been laid.
