Willkie is advising Bending Spoons S.p.A. (NASDAQ: BSP) on its proposed acquisition of Airtable, a connected platform that powers how modern enterprises run their operations, for $1.285 billion.
On August 4, Bending Spoons announced that it entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Airtable in an all-cash transaction that values Airtable at an enterprise value of $1.285 billion, which, together with Airtable's current net cash-and-cash-equivalents balance, implies an equity value of approximately $2.25 billion.
More than 500,000 organizations, including 80% of the Fortune 100, use the Airtable platform, which allows teams to build custom apps, without writing code or waiting on engineering.
The deal marks Bending Spoons' first acquisition since its listing on Nasdaq on July 1, 2026, adding Airtable to a growing portfolio of renowned global brands. Willkie previously advised Bending Spoons on numerous transactions, including its acquisitions of AOL, Evernote, Meetup, StreamYard, Loomly, Issuu and MileIQ.
Bending Spoons, based in Milan, Italy, acquires and improves digital businesses. In March 2026, the company served over 500 million monthly active users and more than 9 million monthly paying customers.
