On September 11, the National Institute for Unification Education of the Ministry of Unification held the Children's Unification Song Contest 2024* at SAC Art Hall.

Children sang songs about a unified future of the Korean Peninsula, composed from a child's perspective, using various themes like airplanes, hide-and-seek, footsteps, flowers, and multiplication.

* Children's Unification Song Contest: The Children's Unification Song Contest is part of the Youth Contest on Unification Culture, now in its eleventh year. The contest has been held to encourage children to naturally think about and dream of a unified future through the creation and performance of songs about unification since 2014.

In her words of encouragement, Unification Vice Minister Kim Soo Kyung emphasized that all the participating children are the "leaders of a unified future," urging the children to "continue nurturing their dreams of unification."
