ULV Hosts La Verne's Annual State of the City Event

Mayor, city council members, and Chamber leaders discuss La Verne's achievements and plans for the year ahead, with honor guard presentation by local police and fire departments

President Risa Dickson welcomed civic and community leaders to the University of La Verne for the city's State of the City address. Speakers included City Council Member Wendy Lau, Ken Domer, city manager, Josh Goldman, chairman of the board of directors of the La Verne Chamber of Commerce, and Mayor Tim Hepburn. Matthew Duran, executive director of the Chamber, served as master of ceremonies. The event opened with a formal presentation of the colors by the La Verne Police and Fire Departments honor guard.
