Dineh Tah’ Navajo Dancers Come to Great Sand Dunes on Friday June 20th

On Friday, June 20th, Great Sand Dunes welcomes Shawn Price and the Dineh Tah' Navajo Dancers for two special presentations:
• At 1:30 pm in the Visitor Center Auditorium, Join Navajo historian Shawn Price for a 45-minute lecture about the amazing legacy of the Navajo Code Talkers, who used their native language to help win World War II.
• At 6:00 pm at the park's outdoor Amphitheater, the Dineh Tah' Navajo Dancers will perform traditional dances, weather permitting.
These presentations are free, but regular park entrance fees are in effect. There are no reservations to attend.
The Dineh Tah' Navajo Dancers will be visiting Fort Garland Museum and Cultural Center the following day on June 21st.
