Various ramp closures on I-49 NB and SB for resurfacing in Jackson County, Sept. 8-11

JACKSON COUNTY - The Missouri Department of Transportation will conduct overnight pavement resurfacing operations on I-49 NB and SB resulting in various ramp closures. All work is weather permitting. The following areas will be closed:

Tuesday, Sept. 8 until Friday. Sept. 11 from 6:00pm to 7:00am

  • Ramp to NB E Frontage Rd. closed from MO-150 to 140th St.
  • Ramp to NB E Frontage Rd. closed to full traffic at Main St.
  • Ramp to NB E Frontage Rd. closed to Blue Ridge Blvd.
  • Ramp to SB W Frontage Rd. & SB I-49 ramp closed to Blue Ridge Blvd.
  • Ramp to SB W Frontage Rd. & SB I-49 ramp closed to Main St.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can also be short-term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
