New York Fed to Host Innovation Conference on June 25-26

June 05, 2026

On Thursday and Friday, June 25-26, the Federal Reserve Bank of New York will host the 2026 Innovation Conference. This annual research conference brings together academics, innovators, and industry leaders on issues shaping the frontier of finance and technology.

This year's conference, which builds on previous convenings, will explore the current inflection point for financial transformation and address the critical role central banks and the private sector play in ensuring both innovation and stability. Discussions will focus on topics including the tokenization of financial markets, stablecoins, public blockchains, the rise of prediction markets, and agentic artificial intelligence.

The program will feature a keynote address from Leigh-Ann Russell, Chief Information Officer and Global Head of Engineering at BNY. There will also be a discussion with Kaitlyn Asrow, Acting Superintendent, New York Department of Financial Services, moderated by Anna Nordstrom, Head of Markets at the New York Fed.

The full agenda and additional details are available on the event page.

This event is open to members of the press in-person and virtually. All remarks are on the record, and the event will be recorded. Media who wish to attend must register by contacting Shelley Pitterson at the New York Fed: [email protected].
