Angelenos Care: Give Warmth, Give Joy, Give Hope
LOS ANGELES -This holiday season, Mayor Karen Bass invites Angelenos to join a citywide effort to make a meaningful and lasting difference for children and families across Los Angeles. To support families impacted by immigration enforcement, regional City facilities across Los Angeles are now accepting donations of new toys, gifts, books, sport equipment and essential items-including grocery cards and warm winter accessories. These donations serve as more than seasonal gifts; they are powerful reminders that our city sees, supports, and stands with every family that calls Los Angeles home. Flyers with drop-off locations can be found here.
"Every Angeleno deserves to feel the hope, care and community that comes alive during this time of year - especially families impacted by recent federal immigration activity," said Mayor Bass. "No donation is ever too small, and every act of generosity helps brighten the holiday season for those who need it most. I encourage every Angeleno to visit their local drop off center and show the true spirit of a united, compassionate and caring Los Angeles"
This holiday season, Angelenos are encouraged to share the warmth and kindness that make our city feel like family. Together with full hearts and as one city, we can lift up local families, brighten young lives, and ensure that every child feels seen, valued, and supported.
