Our relationship began with the company's majority owner, but over the years, we also came to know the minority partners who had increasingly become the driving force behind the business. They may not have had the same financial resources as the majority shareholder, but they brought something equally valuable: deep industry experience, strong customer relationships, and a track record that proved resilient even through the challenges of COVID.

Financing the Next Chapter

When the opportunity arose to transition ownership, those minority owner-operators stepped forward to acquire the majority shareholder's interest. Access Capital helped structure the financing to make the transaction possible, providing a new revolving line of credit along with a term loan to help bridge the gap between buyer and seller.

The former owners were able to realize the value they had built and sail off into the sunset, while a talented team of operators gained the capital and ownership opportunity to take the business into its next chapter.
