TRAFFIC ALERT: Various traffic modifications in Claycomo for bridge maintenance, Oct. 2-5

CLAY COUNTY - The Missouri Department of Transportation will be conducting various traffic modifications in Claycomo for bridge maintenance beginning Friday, October 2nd at 9:00 pm until Monday, October 5th at 5:00 am. Motorists may experience delays. Please see below for traffic modifications:

Friday, October 2nd at 9:00 pm until Monday, October 5th at 5:00 am:

• Crews will reduce northbound Interstate 435 to one lane through the interchange
• Crews will close the ramp from U.S. Highway 69 to NB I-435
• Crews will close the ramp from I-35 to NB I-435

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can also be short-term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
