The Beaverbrooks Group Strengthens Leadership Team with Key Appointments

16 Sep 2026

The Beaverbrooks Group, which owns jewellery and watch retailer Beaverbrooks and luxury watch and fine jewellery boutique retailer Loupe, has strengthened its director team with three senior appointments, increasing the team from five to seven.

Ben Reilly has been appointed Operations Director, following 21 years with the Group, most recently as Head of Property and Store Design. Jo Wilkinson becomes Digital and Brand Experience Director, bringing more than 15 years' experience and continuing to lead the Group's omnichannel and digital development. Nick Bucknell, who has spent 22 years with the Group, becomes Watch Buying and Loupe Operations Director, taking responsibility for watch buying across the Group alongside his existing Loupe and Rolex responsibilities.

The changes strengthen the Group's leadership structure while recognising the experience and contribution of long-standing members of the team. This includes Adelle Thompson, who joined Beaverbrooks in 1978 and remains the company's Director of Jewellery Buying and Merchandising. The Adlestone family's ownership of Beaverbrooks remains represented by the third generation, with Mark Adlestone OBE continuing his close involvement in the business as Chairman and Director. Beaverbrooks and Loupe will continue to develop their respective retail, digital and customer experiences, while focusing on being an exceptional employer.

Simon Smith's role will evolve from Retail Director to Retail, People and Culture Director, continuing the Group's increased focus on its people, culture and retail development.

The changes also mark the beginning of the retirement of Roger Fairhurst, who will step down as Brand Director at the end of September after more than 35 years with the Group and will leave the business in spring 2027. During his long tenure, Roger held various positions within the retail side of the business, before moving to Beaverbrooks' head office where he was instrumental in the development and success of Beaverbrooks' ecommerce function.

Anna Blackburn, Managing Director at Beaverbrooks, said,

"We are delighted to welcome Ben, Jo and Nick to the director team. All three have built long and successful careers with The Beaverbrooks Group and bring significant expertise across our business.

"This is an exciting time for the Group and the right moment to strengthen our leadership team as we continue to deliver our strategic vision and work towards our core purpose of enriching lives.

"We are also incredibly grateful to Roger for more than 35 years of commitment to the business and everything he has contributed throughout his career."
