Encounter live artists creating art in various forms in Wayne Ferguson Plaza, 150 W. Church Street, on select Saturday mornings, 10:30 a.m.-noon, with Art Pop-ups in the Plaza.
Each week will feature one artist demonstrating live artmaking in the format of their choice. Art forms can include painting, music performance, three-dimensional works, sketching, art-trading card creation, spoken word, and more.
This week's featured artist is Darla Bostick. She is an artist, educator, and photographer who loves to travel. Her travel has inspired many of her works of art in watercolor and mixed media. Her work has been recognized for the use of pure color.
Additional Fall Art Pop-ups will take place on Oct. 25, Nov. 1, and Nov. 8. Follow Wayne Ferguson Plaza or the Visual Art League Facebook pages for the latest details of the Art Pop-ups, including weather cancelations.
This event is consistent with recommendations in the "Old Town" and "Identity, Place, and Communications" Big Moves of the Lewisville 2025 vision plan. The plan can be viewed at cityoflewisville.com/Lewisville2025.
