With the support of the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command - Chemical Biological Center, the Science and Technology Directorate's Chemical Security Analysis Center will initiate the Ammonia Port Preparedness and Emergency Response effort to provide an understanding of the current ammonia landscape in the U.S, assemble specific information regarding ammonia storage plans at major US ports, and assess the potential impact from a catastrophic ammonia release at a major U.S port.
