One-Way Traffic Control Next Week

Amador County- The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will have traffic controls in place to perform construction and maintenance activities on State Routes 26 (SR-26), 88 and 104 in Amador County next week.

State Route 26

• One-way traffic control takes place from Defender Grade to Bobbie Lane for tree work beginning Tuesday, January 20, 2026, through Wednesday, January 21, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.

State Route 88

• One-way traffic control takes place from SR-124 to SR-49 for highway construction work on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, from 7:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
• One-way traffic control takes place from Ranch Drive/Homestead Road to SR-26/Red Corral Road for tree work beginning Tuesday, January 20, 2026, through Friday, January 23, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
• One-way traffic control takes place from Ham Station Entrance to Lumber Yard Ranger Station Entrance for shoulder work beginning Tuesday, January 20, 2026, through Thursday, January 22, 2026, from 7:30 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.

State Route 104

• One-way traffic control takes place from Preston School to SR-124/Shakley Lane for tree work beginning Tuesday, January 20, 2026, through Wednesday, January 21, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.

Motorists should expect 5-to-10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. All work is scheduled to occur as listed but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment/materials, and construction-related issues.
