CUMBERLAND COUNTY SR-24 [15.056-15.56] from Crossville city limits to Seventh-Day Adventist Church and School bridge replacement: The contractor has closed SR-24 at LM 15.06 to LM 15.6. This closure will remain in place for the duration of the project. The posted detour is along SR-462 and SR-1. The contractor will be working on general clearing activities and utility work initially. Once initial work is completed, the Contractor will proceed with the replacement of the bridge over the Obed River. Motorists should use caution and utilize the posted detour. CUMBERLAND COUNTY SR-28 (US-127) bridge construction and paving from north of I-40 (LM 17.8) to near Potato Farm Road (LM 22.7): The contractor continues grading activities throughout the project limits. The contractor has closed Freedonia Road. A detour has been posted to utilize Maynard Road. Temporary lane closures and/or periodic traffic stoppages will be necessary for construction activities. CUMBERLAND AND FENTRESS COUNTY SR-28 (US-127) widening from near N. Lowe Rd (LM 29.2) to north of SR-62 (LM 1.9): The contractor has shifted traffic to phase 2 on the newly constructed portions of SR-28 LM 0.90 to 1.98 in Fentress County. Work will proceed on the existing alignment of SR-28. Flaggers are being used intermittently as needed to control traffic through the work zone. During this work, the contractor will have one lane closed in each direction. HAMILTON COUNTY I-75 at I-24 Interchange Reconstruction Phase 2: In order to complete final punchlist items on this project, the contractor is planning to have a ramp closure the night of Thursday, April 30 and/or Sunday, May 3 from 9 PM to 6 AM for replacing/installing guardrail on I-24 West at the Belvoir Avenue/Germantown Road Exit. As part of this punchlist work, it will be necessary to temporarily close the exit ramp from I-24 West. Message boards, signs and detours will be provided to warn motorists of the ramp closure and to guide them to the next available exit ramp. No other interstate ramp/lane closures are scheduled for this period, but the contractor may utilize traveling/moving operations to vacuum and clean debris from medians and shoulders on areas of I-75 from Exit 1 (East Ridge) to Exit 3 (East Brainerd Road) and on I-24 from Germantown Road to the I-75 Interchange as part of the final puchlist. Some minor off-peak (9 AM to 3 PM) temporary lane closures may occur Monday through Friday on North and South Terrace for the contractor to perform other final punchlist work. It may also be necessary to do short duration (15 to 30 minutes) rolling roadblocks during the day or night for patching potholes, clearing debris or repairing guardrail, attenuators, etc.

HAMILTON COUNTY I-75 at the Hamilton Place Mall interchange: The SR-153 southbound ramp to I-75 northbound has been reduced to one lane. Traffic shifts have been implemented on I-75 northbound and I-75 southbound, Shallowford Road entrance ramps, and Shallowford Road exit ramps and Hamilton Place Mall exit ramp. Hamilton Loop Road is closed for retaining wall construction and storm drainage installation between the intersections near Markman's Jewelers and Texas Roadhouse. Beginning 04/27/26 through 4/30/26, the contractor will close 2 right lanes between 8 PM and 6 AM on I-75 SB from MM 8.8 to MM 6.6 for the installation of overhead signs. The contractor anticipates one night for closing two right lanes and one night for rolling roadblocks to mount the overhead signs. The remaining 2 nights are in case of adverse weather. HAMILTON COUNTY SR-27 [5.51-7.93] from I-24 to Georgia State Line resurfacing on US-27: The contractor will have nighttime lane closures of Rossville Blvd - SR-27 between I-24 and the Georgia State Line. The lane closures will be Sunday through Thursday between the hours of 8 PM and 6 AM. At least one lane in each direction will be open to normal traffic. All on-street parking will be suspended during the nighttime work. Park accordingly and plan to move vehicles before the hours listed above. Vehicles left in the work zone during working hours will be towed at the owner's expense. JACKSON COUNTY SR-262 (GLADDICE HWY.) TDOT Bridge Inspection eastbound at LM 6.63: TDOT contractors will be inspecting the Frank G. Clement Bridge from Monday, May 4, through Wednesday, May 6. The inspection will require the use of an underbridge inspection vehicle, which will require closure of the eastbound lane daily from 8 AM until 4 PM. Flaggers will be present direct motorists through the work zone. Motorists are advised to approach the bridge with caution. Be prepared to stop when approaching the bridge from either direction and be alert to the presence of workers, vehicles and equipment on the bridge and in the eastbound lane at either approach.

JACKSON COUNTY SR-53 [17.46-17.6] from south of Hurricane Branch to Near Hurricane Branch Lane culvert replacement: SR-53 is now open to traffic. Motorists are encouraged to drive through the work zone with caution as there will be time where intermittent flagging operations will be utilized as the contractor completes the project.

MARION COUNTY I-24 TDOT Contractor westbound from MM 156.4 to MM 141.1: Big Woody's Tree Service will be performing mechanical tree and brush removal 04/30/26 - 05/06/26 from 7 AM to 5 PM. Big Woody's will be closing shoulder in the West bound direction. East bound will not be affected.

MARION COUNTY I-24 [137-138.2] from 137 to 138.2 Rockfall Mitigation on I-24 near MM 137: The contractor will be performing rockfall mitigation operations on I-24 WB beginning at MM 138.2 in Marion County. The middle lane, right lane, and right shoulder have been closed. 2 Lanes of traffic have been shifted to flow on the left shoulder and left lane. MARION COUNTY SR-108 [2.8-3.24] slide mitigation: The contractor will be performing slide mitigation operations, including grading, drainage and paving on SR-108 in Marion County at LM 2.8. At least one travel lane will always remain open to traffic. The contractor will have daytime outside shoulder closures on Bradley I-75 between MM 25 and MM 33.

REGION 2 The on-call cable barrier repair on various Interstate and State Routes.: The contractor will have short-term shoulder and/or lane closures in order to perform cable barrier rail repair. These closures will take place daily, Monday through Friday, during daylight hours on the interstates and some major divided highway state routes. There may also be nightly Sunday through Thursday from 7 PM to 6 AM, rarely and only as needed. At least one travel lane will remain open to traffic at all times. REGION 2 The on-call guardrail repair and new guardrail installation on various Interstate and State Routes: The contractor will have short-term shoulder and/or lane closures in order to perform guardrail repair. These closures will take place on the interstate nightly Sunday through Thursday from 7 PM to 6 AM and daily Monday through Friday on state routes. At least one travel lane will remain open to traffic at all times on the interstate, and flaggers will be present on state routes during any work that is performed.

Additionally, lane closures on this multi-lane highway will occasionally carry through nighttime hours (24-hour lane closures) with proper signage for curing of concrete and other bridge-related setup as needed on infrequent occasions.

WHITE COUNTY SR-111 [15.25-16.25] from O'Connor Rd to Old Kentucky Rd culvert replacement: The contractor will be continuing work on installation of a box culvert. Motorists are encouraged to use caution as they approach the work zone, and they should be prepared to stop.
