Keeping Ohtawara’s Streets Clean — Our Road Adoption Activity

The Kanto Company Ohtawara factory has joined the "Road Adoption" program promoted by Ohtawara City, and has been actively engaged in local clean-up activities since October 2021.

The "Road Adoption" program is a system in which individuals and organizations are certified as "foster parents" of nearby roads, taking responsibility for keeping them clean. Our Ohtawara factory is in charge of a section of road (approximately 325 meters) in the Shimo-Ishigami area, where our members work together to pick up litter, pull weeds, and carry out other beautification activities.

Keeping the streets around our factory clean is an important opportunity for us to express our gratitude to the local community. With the spirit of "caring for the place where we work with our own hands," our employees are united in continuing these efforts.

Going forward, the Ohtawara factory will continue to walk alongside the local community as a good corporate citizen deeply rooted in the region.
