Children’s Health℠ Hosts Third Annual Round Up Reuniting Families with Care Teams

DALLAS, July 11, 2026 - Children's Health hosted its third annual Round Up on Saturday, July 11, at Ford Center at The Star in Frisco. The Western-themed celebration brought together more than 2,500 patients, families, physicians and care team members to celebrate the lasting relationships built throughout a child's care journey.

This year's event showcased the breadth of multidisciplinary care across Children's Health, bringing together sixteen care teams representing specialties including the Pauline Allen Gill Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders, The Heart Center, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), Trauma Services, Endocrinology and more.

"At Children's Health, our mission extends far beyond the care we provide in our hospitals and clinics. Round Up brings together our patients, families, team members, volunteers and community partners to celebrate the strength and resilience that inspire us every day," said Fernand Fernandez, Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing and Communications Officer at Children's Health. "It's a reflection of who we are as an organization and our commitment to strengthening the communities we serve."

Patients and families enjoyed a variety of family-friendly activities, including games, bounce houses, a photo booth, face painting, snow cones, cotton candy and more. The event also gave current and former patients the opportunity to reconnect with the physicians, nurses and multidisciplinary care teams who supported them throughout their care, creating new memories together.
