Inaugural Lectures: Introducing New TNF Professors

The traditional inaugural lectures presented by new professors at the TN Faculty will take place at the JKU in October.

Markus Schöberl and Jörg Fischer will be offering insights into their research.

The event will commence with Univ. Prof. Dr. Markus Schöberl from the Institute of Control Systems giving a general introduction into the world of control systems and discussing the principle of feedback elementary to industrial processes in a lecture titled "Alles unter Kontrolle!".

This will be followed by "Kunststoffe zwischen Alltag und Nachhaltigkeit" presented by Univ. Prof. Dr. Jörg Fischer (Institute for Polymeric Materials and Testing). He will demonstrate why plastic is essential for everyday life and for maintaining our living standards - and offer insight into the research being conducted on a global circular economy at the JKU.
