Meeting of the Foreign Minister of Armenia with the NATO Secretary General's Special Representative for the Caucasus and Central Asia

On April 21, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan received NATO Secretary General's Special Representative for the Caucasus and Central Asia Kevin Hamilton.

The interlocutors noted with satisfaction the active dynamics of political dialogue between Armenia and NATO. Projects aimed at expanding the partnership were discussed, an important component of which is the support for the reforms and democratic development, implemented by Armenia.

Minister Mirzoyan presented the latest regional developments, as well as the steps being undertaken toward the normalization of relations with neighbors and the further institutionalization of peace.

Touching upon the topic of regional connectivity, the interlocutors emphasized that in the new realities, the South Caucasus can play the role of a connecting bridge. This is also reflected in the "Crossroads of Peace" project developed by the Republic of Armenia.

During the meeting, views were exchanged on issues regarding international security, as well as cooperation within multilateral platforms.
