Parks and Recreation Receives National Recognition for Outstanding Visual Communication

The Palm Beach County Parks and Recreation Department has been honored with the GDUSA Health + Wellness Design Award in the Brochures + Collateral category for its innovative Summer Camp Brochure. This prestigious award recognizes outstanding graphic design that promotes health, wellness and community engagement.

Director of the Palm Beach County Parks and Recreation Department , Jennifer Cirillo, shared her excitement about the recognition stating , "We are thrilled to receive the GDUSA Health + Wellness Design Award for our Summer Camp Brochure. This achievement highlights the creativity and dedication of our team in developing materials that not only inform families but also inspire children to participate in healthy, active, and enriching experiences through our summer camp programs."

"This recognition emphasizes how effective design helps us connect with the community in meaningful ways," said Chris Korbelak, m anager of the department's Office of Public Engagement.

The GDUSA Health + Wellness Awards are presented annually to celebrate effective and visually compelling design in fields that advance well-being. PBC Parks' Summer Camp Brochure was selected from thousands of entries nationwide, highlighting the department's leadership in delivering both innovative programming and engaging communication to the community.
