27 April, 2026On April 27, Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia Robert Abisoghomonyan received Xavier Castellanos Mosquera, the Under Secretary General of the IFRC.
The Deputy Foreign Minister commended the programs implemented by IFRC in Armenia, emphasizing the importance of humanitarian aid and development programs provided.
The interlocutors discussed the issues on initiatives aimed at addressing the long-term needs of Armenian refugees displaced from Nagorno-Karabakh. The importance of full realization of the social and economic rights of the refugees was highlighted, ensuring their inclusion in social, cultural and economic development processes.
Views were also exchanged on the situation unfolded in the Middle East and addressing possible humanitarian issues within this context.
