Arla recalls protein pudding due to glass

Arla is voluntarily recalling two types of its protein pudding, because the product may contain glass contamination, according to a letter sent by the company on Oct. 23.

The Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA) has publicized this recall to all European stores, according to Richard Stith, supervisory consumer safety officer for DeCA Headquarters and Support Center at Fort Lee, Virginia. Whenever a commissary has recalled or withdrawn products in its inventory, they are immediately removed from store shelves.

The products were distributed in DeCA's 36 European commissaries.

The following products are subject to recall:

  • Arla Protein Pudding, CHOCO: EAN: 5711953197529, best before: Jan. 11, 2027, Jan. 18, 2027, Jan. 20, 2027, and Feb. 6, 2027, and plant code: DK-M224
