Liberty Defense Announces Leadership Change

Wilmington, MA, USA - August 4, 2026 - Liberty Defense Holdings Ltd. ("Liberty" or the "Company") (NASDAQ: DETX; TSXV: SCAN), a leading technology provider of AI-based next generation detection solutions for concealed weapons and threats, today announced that Bryan Cunningham, President, left the Company to return to his privacy and advocacy work, effective July 22, 2026.

"We appreciate Bryan's contributions to the organization during his tenure and thank him for his service," said Bill Frain, Liberty's CEO. "We wish him continued success in his future endeavors."

The Company does not plan to immediately fill the President position. The leadership team remains focused on executing the Company's strategic priorities and continuing to provide exceptional service to its customers, partners, and employees.
