The Northern Forum attended the opening ceremony of the Tattinsky Lyceum's new building

Today, 28 December, the Northern Forum took part in the opening ceremony of the new building of the A.E. Mordinov Tattinsky Lyceum in the village of Ytyk-Kyuel in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia).

The Tattinsky Lyceum is one of the founding members of the Northern Forum Schools Association, which was established this autumn during the 5th Northern Sustainable Development Forum. The mission of the association is to create conditions for cultural and educational exchange between schools from different countries.

The new lyceum building is designed for 450 students with a boarding school for 100 students with a total area of more than 10 thousand square metres. The new four-storey building was built as a result of the national project 'Education'.

Daryana Maximova, Deputy Executive Director of the Northern Forum, took part in the ceremony and congratulated the lyceum.

She also presented a certificate of membership in the Northern Forum Schools Association to A. Sofronov-Alamp's Ytyk-Kyuelskaya School No. 1, which is also one of the founding schools of our new association.

We believe in sustainable development for the sake of future generations!
