MANHATTAN BEACH ASSESSED VALUES RISE 5.3%, REFLECTING ECONOMIC RESILIENCY
City's total assessed valuation reaches $29.07 billion as County records 16th consecutive year of growth
Manhattan Beach, CA (August 18, 2026) - The Los Angeles County Assessor's Office has released its 2026 Annual Assessment Roll, showing continued growth in the total assessed value of property in the City of Manhattan Beach. The City's assessed valuation has risen to $29.07 billion, an increase of 5.3%, or $1.46 billion, over the previous year.
The annual Assessment Roll, prepared by the Los Angeles County Assessor's Office, is the yearly inventory of all taxable real and business property in the County from which property taxes are calculated and collected. The Roll provides a snapshot of the local economy by detailing the assessed value of all taxable property, including land, buildings, and business equipment. This continued growth in Manhattan Beach's property values reflects a resilient local real estate market and the City's ongoing economic strength.
Countywide, the 2026 Roll reflects a total net value of $2.272 trillion, marking the 16th consecutive year of property value growth, a $96 billion increase, or 4.42%, over 2025. That total value will generate more than $20 billion Countywide for vital local public services, including public safety, public schools, roads, hospitals, and libraries.
Manhattan Beach's total parcel count for 2026 is 12,933, broken down as follows:
