Statement on Los Angeles Wildfires Relief and Recovery

Lockheed Martin donates $1 million to support immediate relief and long-term recovery of communities impacted by the Los Angeles Wildfires

Lockheed Martin announced $1 million in charitable donations to support Los Angeles relief and recovery efforts following unprecedented wildfire activity. The contributions announced today include a $500,000 charitable donation to the California Fire Foundation and a $500,000 donation to the California Community Foundation. Lockheed Martin is also dedicating an additional $1 million to the Lockheed Martin Employee Disaster Relief Fund to support affected team members across Los Angeles and Ventura Counties.

"Our company has significant ties to California given our founding in the Los Angeles area, as well as the thousands of employees and a substantial supplier presence in the region," said Dean Acosta, chief communications officer of Lockheed Martin. "We are deeply saddened to learn of devastation and personal loss within the Lockheed Martin community. The California Fire Foundation and California Community Foundation are two of many notable organizations we partner with that are stepping up to meet the needs of residents, firefighters, and entire communities, and they have our full support."
