The McLean County Sheriff's Office is seeking one or more dedicated and motivated individuals to join our team in the role of Patrol Deputy. If you are passionate about law enforcement and committed to serving your community with integrity, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patrol assigned areas and respond to emergency calls.

• Conduct investigations and enforce laws and ordinances.

• Perform traffic stops and issue citations.

• Collaborate with other law enforcement agencies and community organizations.

• Prepare detailed reports and maintain accurate records.

• Engage with community members to promote safety and address concerns.

Starting base salary range is $48,758.59 - $57,752.76 per year based on prior experience. A full benefit package is offered including 100% paid health insurance (individual or family); 14.04% contribution on employee's behalf to NDPERS defined benefit retirement program; and employer funded professional development and training opportunities.
