WASHINGTON, D.C. - Today, the U.S. Senate unanimously passed a resolution led by Senators Rick Scott and Jacky Rosen recognizing May as Jewish-American Heritage Month. The resolution honors and celebrates Jewish Americans and their contributions to the United States and condemns all forms of antisemitism.
Senator Rick Scott said, "I am proud to be joined by Senator Rosen and all our Senate colleagues to honor the contributions of Jewish Americans to our country's history and to condemn the un-American scourge of antisemitism. The contributions of Jewish Americans have been critical to our republic since our founding era; they have helped secure and defend our freedom and build the strong, prosperous America we enjoy today. Now, with antisemitism on the rise around the country and the world, it is more important than ever to stand with our Jewish fellow citizens here in the United States against discrimination, hate, and violence."
