The festival is produced by SoundSkilz, an experienced event production company with over 20 years in the industry and a proven track record of producing large-scale festivals for audiences exceeding 100,000 attendees.

In this fifth consecutive year as presenting sponsor, Agua Caliente Casinos will host a variety of special events throughout the weekend to celebrate this beloved annual tradition that draws visitors from around the world to witness the spectacular hot air balloon launches against the stunning desert backdrop.

Festival organizers are preparing to announce a Grammy-nominated headliner with over 5 million social media followers and more than 1 billion YouTube views that will add star power to this year's celebration. The announcement is expected in the coming weeks, promising to make the 2025 festival the most exciting yet.

Special Ticket Offer for Cathedral City Residents

Following the successful model from last year's LeAnn Rimes headliner performance, 600 free general admission tickets for Cathedral City residents, ages 21 years and older, will be available for pickup at the ACE Club at Agua Caliente Casino Cathedral City, 68960 E Palm Canyon Dr, Cathedral City, CA 92234. A valid form of ID or proof of residency is required, which is good for one ticket per resident. Details on the signup process and pickup dates will be announced soon.

The weekend kicks off Friday morning, November 21, with the traditional media launch and hot air balloon competition flight. All three days will feature multiple balloon launches, tethered balloon rides (weather permitting), live entertainment, food vendors, and family-friendly activities. Evening highlights include balloon glows on both Friday and Saturday nights, with Saturday's main balloon glow being the festival's most popular component where illuminated balloons create a magical spectacle against the desert sky. Friday night also features a drone light show following the balloon glow.
