MVD Community Connections receives award for charitable giving

The ADOT MVD Community Connections team was recently recognized for their continued efforts to support community organizations across the state.

The American Association of Motor Vehicle Administrators Region 4 presented the 2025 Community Service Award to the team of MVD employees who have been organizing employee charity drives throughout the last three years.

Some of these drives include donating school supplies to help students and teachers start each school year, holding water drives during the scorching Arizona summers and food and toy drives during the holiday months, and collecting aluminum soda tabs to support the Ronald McDonald Houses in Arizona.

Other drives have collected winter coats and jackets in Northern Arizona, pet food and supplies for our furry friends, and slippers, sweaters, beanies and pillows that provide a warm feeling of support and distraction for those receiving cancer treatment.

The mission of the MVD Community Connections team is building relationships within each community by lending a hand and inspiring others. Each MVD office finds local organizations, schools and shelters in need to help make a lasting impact right there in the community.
