Orrick Continues Structured Finance Buildout with New York Hire

  • Steven "Steve" Lozner joins Orrick's Structured Finance team as a partner in New York with a focus on collateralized loan obligations (CLOs) and related leveraged loan warehouse facilities.
  • Orrick has more than doubled the size of its Structured Finance team since October 2025, growing from 49 lawyers to 102 lawyers, including 35 partners. This growth includes the addition of a 40-lawyer transatlantic CLO and asset-backed lending team last fall, two asset-backed securitization partners in London in May, and four more partners across the U.S. and London in June for a total addition of 16 partners and 55 other lawyers at all levels.
  • Steve represents investment banks, financial institutions, issuers, collateral managers and institutional investors in a wide range of complex matters involving the securitization of CLOs and a variety of asset-backed securitizations (ABS).
  • He joins from DLA Piper.
