Paris-Dentons advised Marietton Développement on the acquisition of 100% of Japan Experience, a specialist in travel to Japan, founded in 1981. The agreement was signed on December 23, 2025.

Japan Experience operates a network of approximately 150 guides and has a presence in Europe and Japan, with offices in Paris, Milan, Madrid, Berlin, London, Tokyo and Kyoto. The governance of Japan Experience will be maintained, with Thierry Maincent continuing to manage the company as Deputy CEO. He will also become a member of the executive committee and a shareholder of the Marietton Développement group to ensure operational continuity and accelerate commercial synergies, particularly in the B2B segment.

Dentons advised Marietton Développement on the corporate and M&A aspects of the transaction, providing support on the structuring and negotiation of this strategic acquisition in the tourism sector. Pascal Chadenet, Partner, led the team with assistance from and Alexis Doise, Associate.
