The City of Concord government offices will be closed on Monday, January 20, in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.
Garbage, Recycling, Bulky and Yard waste collection will operate on a one-day delay. Residents are reminded to place their carts at the curb no later than 6 a.m. on the day of their collection. Visit concordnc.gov/whatsmyday to download the 2025 Recycling & Bulky Waste calendar that includes the full list of City-observed holidays for the year.
Loose leaf season is continuing with the third collection cycle for Monday customers scheduled for January 21-24. Customers are reminded to have their loose leaves at the curb by 6 a.m. on January 21 to be sure they don't miss their collection. Customers can follow crews' progress with our collection tracker at concordnc.gov/looseleaves.
City of Concord recreation centers will follow holiday hours and open from 12-6 p.m. on Monday, January 20. The David Phillips Activity Center, Lake Fisher, and ClearWater Arts Center & Studios will be closed.
