UHart's Holiday Giving Program gives students four ways to give back to those who need it this holiday season:
Meanwhile, UHart's performance groups are stepping up to help everyone get into the holiday spirit. On Friday, December 12, the Hartt Orchestra will perform Handel's Messiah, famous for its triumphant "Hallelujah" chorus. Held in Lincoln Theater at 7:30 p.m., this concert is free and no tickets are required.
Running through December 14 is the annual presentation of Tchaikovsky's The Nutcracker. Featuring an ever-growing cast of students performing alongside world-renowned professional guest artists, the stunning production makes for a family-friendly holiday experience.
And on Monday, December 15 at 5:30 p.m., a beloved holiday tradition returns once again to downtown Hartford, as UHart and UConn team up for the Back to the Times Carol Sing on the steps of the Hartford Times Portico. It's the second year the two universities have partnered to bring back the longstanding event. Two of UHart's popular a capella groups, L'Shir and Hartattack, return to lead the caroling. You'll want to get there early for hot chocolate and a musical prelude.
Happy Holidays from UHart!
