Celebrating WorkForce Unlimited

Nearly 40 Years of Connecting People and Opportunity

As Access Capital celebrates our 40th anniversary, we are also celebrating the companies and entrepreneurs whose stories have become part of our own. This year marks one year of partnership with WorkForce Unlimited, a company with an impressive history of its own.

Founded in 1987 in Mount Airy, North Carolina, WorkForce Unlimited began as Surry Temporary Service, helping local companies respond to changing workforce needs. As the company grew, it expanded its services and geographic reach, adopting the WorkForce Unlimited name in 2014 to better reflect the organization it had become. Today, the company continues to provide workforce solutions across industries including manufacturing, distribution, logistics, and professional services.

When WorkForce Unlimited joined the Access Capital portfolio in 2025, the company was already building on decades of experience and strong regional relationships. Access Capital structured an asset-based revolving credit facility designed to provide additional working capital and support WorkForce Unlimited's continued expansion.

One year later, what stands out most is the relationship that has developed along the way.

"Our time with Access has been extremely beneficial to us and we are grateful for the relationship. They have referred us industry experts as a value add, and they have dug deep into our business to truly understand our strategic objectives and growth plans. They are a great partner!"

Mike Brannock, CEO/Co-Founder, WorkForce Unlimited

Mike's words speak to the kind of partnership Access Capital set out to build from the beginning: one that goes beyond providing capital. Our goal is to understand where a client has been, where they want to go, and how we can serve as a resource as their business evolves.
