Director-General of the Department of Asian Affairs of the Foreign Ministry Liu Jinsong Meets with Pakistani Ambassador to China Khalil-ur-Rahman Hashmi

On September 11, 2025, Director-General of the Department of Asian Affairs of the Foreign Ministry Liu Jinsong met with Pakistani Ambassador to China Khalil-ur-Rahman Hashmi. Both sides agreed that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif's visit to China to attend the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Tianjin Summit and the commemoration of the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War was successful. The two sides exchanged views on implementing the important common understandings reached between the leaders of the two countries and deepening practical cooperation between China and Pakistan.
