Sojourn Launches 2025 Adopt-a-Family Program

Sojourn Shelter & Services is once again inviting the community to make a difference this holiday season through its annual Adopt-a-Family program.

The initiative pairs community donors - including individuals, families, civic groups, churches, and offices - with families in need throughout Central Illinois. Donors may select the size of the family they wish to support and will receive a family match sheet detailing household information, along with instructions for gift wrapping, labeling, and delivery.

Wrapped gifts must be delivered to Sojourn by Wednesday, December 17, 2025.

Now celebrating its 50th year, Sojourn Shelter & Services continues to provide safe shelter and supportive services for individuals and families escaping domestic violence across Sangamon, Christian, Logan, Menard, and Montgomery counties. The organization also operates court advocacy offices in Springfield, Hillsboro, Lincoln, Petersburg, and Taylorville.
