Mayor Shane McFarland discusses Broad Street Redevelopment, road improvements, Buc-ee's groundbreaking, Patterson Park improvements, and more in the latest edition of "The Insider." The 2025 Year in Review highlights multiple City projects.
"There were so many projects that we're proud of this year," said Mayor Shane McFarland. "A ton of road projects were finished. We broke ground on Veterans Parkway for a new park, the Transit Center opened up. There are a lot of good things to be thankful for in our City."

The demolition of three structures for construction of Daylighting Town Creek along NW Broad between Murfree Springs and Cannonsburgh. Construction on the new water feature began in 2025 with completion anticipated in October of 2026
