Director Desautel recently hosted a townhall at the King of Prussia office focused on connecting directly with employees and reinforcing the agency's critical role in supporting the Department of War mission.
During the event, Director Desautel discussed DCAA's mission priorities, ongoing changes across the agency, and the importance of continued alignment with the Department of War's objectives. Employees had the opportunity to hear leadership's perspective on the evolving defense environment and how DCAA's work contributes to transparency, accountability, and mission readiness.
A highlight of the townhall was the presentation of multiple Director's Coins recognizing employees whose exceptional efforts, leadership, and dedication have advanced the agency's mission and strengthened support to customers and national security priorities.
The following employees were recognized for their outstanding contributions:
Ms. Elaine Reilly, Program Manager, CASA Auditing Standards Division, was recognized for supporting the agency's revolutionary FAR overhaul process, leading the CAM Overhaul Project, and advocating for the agency's advisory services during a WarU webinar.
Ray Kaznica, Maryland Branch Senior Auditor, was recognized for managing complex audit workloads, serving as the primary contact for sensitive procurements, and mentoring the next generation of auditors.
Mike Suzadail, Maryland Branch Senior Auditor, was honored for delivering impactful audit results, building strong customer relationships, and mentoring less experienced staff members.
Stephanie Tertel, Supervisory Auditor, King of Prussia Branch Office, was recognized for exceptional dedication to the DCAA mission, developing auditors supporting national security programs, and advancing the agency's support of critical national security missions.
Megan Koppel, Senior Auditor, King of Prussia Branch Office, was honored for embodying DCAA's "One Agency" philosophy, ensuring a seamless transition during critical contractor movement, and maintaining mission continuity while strengthening customer relationships.
Nieko Conti, Auditor, King of Prussia Branch Office, was recognized for demonstrating leadership and initiative, leading the completion of a major incurred cost audit, and achieving a key directorate goal.
Josh Collins, Senior Auditor, New Jersey Branch Office, was recognized for completing a critical F-35 subcontractor advisory service, creating tailored procedures to support Buying Command needs, and identifying inconsistencies that aided negotiation outcomes.
Susan Kemer, Senior Auditor, was honored for identifying $500,000 in questioned costs on a Gentex proposal, preparing customers for negotiations, and strengthening relationships that resulted in repeat business.
Emily Potteiger, Senior Auditor, was recognized for completing work within 50 percent of budgeted hours on an FPRP audit, exceeding timeliness goals, and serving as a trusted guide and leader within the office.
Anchi Luchansky, Senior Auditor, was recognized as a data analytics specialist for the office whose consistent exceptional performance increased audit effectiveness.
Tracey Weibrecht, Deputy CDAO for Enterprise Platforms, was honored for spearheading the transition to the Legal Services Delivery system in just four months, modernizing and safeguarding legal services capabilities.
Justin Swager, Compensation Supervisor, was recognized for sustaining mission operations during DRP activities, excelling as Acting Branch Chief, and leading essential work during a shutdown period.
David Smith, Acting Program Manager, was honored for serving in a year-long detail with OWD, supporting Agency-Level Savings EPIC inputs, and contributing to ongoing and special projects.
