The historic building of the Bulgarian Parliament was illuminated with the colours of the Bulgarian and Ukrainian flags on the occasion of the fourth year of the beginning of Russia's full-scale military aggression against Ukraine.

On this occasion, the President of the National Assembly Raya Nazaryan stated that Bulgaria sympathizes with and supports Ukraine and its people in defending the country's independence and sovereignty. Raya Nazaryan emphasizes that Bulgaria welcomes all efforts aimed at ensuring a lasting peaceful solution for Ukraine. The war must end with a comprehensive, just and lasting peace based on international law and the UN Charter, she said. The future of the free democratic world is impossible without freedom for the Ukrainian people, Raya Nazaryan added.
