USDA Rural Development Highlights Preservation at Forrest Hills Apartments in Crawford, Georgia

(Crawford, Ga., October 1, 2026) - The U.S. Department of Agriculture Rural Development joined partners in Crawford, Georgia, to celebrate the completion of major renovations at Forrest Hills Apartments.

CAHEC Properties Corporation received financing to acquire and rehabilitate 13 affordable housing properties in Georgia. The portfolio includes 410 units across 12 counties, including Forrest Hills Apartments. CAHEC expects to complete renovations across all properties by December 2026.
