Dell Children’s North Celebrates Three Years of Expanding Pediatric Care in Central Texas

Dell Children's Medical Center North Campus is proud to celebrate its third anniversary of serving families in Central Texas. Since opening its doors on April 27th of 2023, the facility has expanded access to high-quality, specialized pediatric care for the growing communities in North Austin and Central Texas. Dell Children's has been recognized for its exceptional pediatric care, earning seven national specialty rankings in the U.S. News & World Report's 2025-2026 Best Children's Hospitals list.

Dell Children's North offers essential, child-focused services and was designed specifically with pediatric patients and their families in mind.

• 24/7 Pediatric Emergency Department and Level III Trauma Care: Providing immediate, expert care for children's emergencies and trauma.
• Specialty Clinics: Offering convenient access to pediatric specialists across various disciplines, reducing the need for families to travel downtown. Specialized services include cancer and blood disorder care, heart care, brain and spine care, surgical care, sleep medicine, pulmonology, gastroenterology, endocrinology, rehabilitation, and imaging.
• PICU & Acute Care: Pediatric doctors and care teams in Dell Children's pediatric intensive care unit (PICU) deliver advanced care for critically ill and injured children.
• Inpatient & Outpatient Surgery Services: Focused on a seamless experience for common pediatric surgical needs, including specialized surgical care. Dell Children's North was also the First Pediatric Hospital in the World to Offer Robotic Spine Procedures with an Advanced Active Robotic Assisted and Navigation Platform.
• Imaging and Diagnostics: Featuring child-friendly technology and environments.
• Sustaniblity: Dell Children's North has been recognized with the 2025 Practice Greenhealth Partner for Change Award for its commitment to environmental sustainability and helping create a healthier future for our community.
• Retail Pharmacy: The pharmacy is specialized for pediatric patients and can also fill prescriptions for the entire family, with the added benefit of convenience for everyone.
