SMUD volunteers to plant trees to honor veterans in Saluting Branches event

SACRAMENTO, Calif. - SMUD volunteers and community members will come together to plant trees at the Sacramento County Veterans Memorial Cemetery as part of a Saluting Branches event - a national day of service honoring our nation's veterans. Volunteers will plant 15 trees to help clean the air and provide a shady respite at the cemetery.

25+ volunteers from SMUD and the Sacramento Tree Foundation
