Gryphon Investors Becomes Signatory to United Nations-Supported Principles for Responsible Investment

Gryphon Investors (“Gryphon”), a leading middle-market private investment firm, today announced that it has become a signatory to the United Nations-supported Principles for Responsible Investment (“PRI”), the leading global network of investors committed to integrating responsible investment considerations into their investment and ownership practices. In becoming a signatory, Gryphon joins more than 5,000 signatories worldwide, representing in excess of US$139 trillion in assets under management, that have committed to PRI’s framework of incorporating governance, transparency, and risk oversight into investment analysis, ownership practices, and reporting.

Gryphon’s commitment to the PRI builds on a responsible investment approach embedded across its investment lifecycle, in part through its Operations Resources Group of full-time senior operating executives, that work alongside management teams to implement initiatives related to its responsible investing framework. Gryphon intends to continue developing its own framework in line with the PRI’s reporting standards as it deepens these practices across its portfolio.
