Philadelphia, PA (08/11/2025) -Roxborough Memorial Hospital is pleased to announce that Dr. Bereket Kahsai Tewoldemedhin, an accomplished Infectious Disease specialist, will begin his position on Wednesday, August 13. While Dr. Tewoldemedhin will primarily be stationed at St. Michael's Medical Center in Newark, NJ, he will also provide valuable expertise to the Roxborough community.
Dr. Tewoldemedhin recently completed his Fellowship in Infectious Disease at St. Michael's Medical Center, having previously finished his Internal Medicine residency at Lower Bucks Hospital in Bristol, PA. His extensive clinical experience includes roles in emergency departments, volunteer clinical services, and general practice, both in the United States and Ethiopia.

Dr. Tewoldemedhin's medical journey began at Addis Ababa University College of Health Sciences in Ethiopia, where he earned his M.D. He has since cultivated a wealth of experience in various healthcare settings, including emergency medicine and holistic health services.
