The Hayward Office of the City Clerk encourages all eligible residents to have their say in the Nov. 3 election by casting their ballot by mail, through a 24-hour Official Drop Box or at a designated Vote Center near you.

In the Hayward General Municipal Election voters residing in City of Hayward Districts 1 and 6 will elect their City Council representatives. All registered Hayward voters will vote for Mayor, regardless of the district in which they reside.

Hayward voters also will decide local Measure CC, which would update the City's Business License Tax, or BLT. You can learn more about Measure CC on this Frequently Asked Questions page on the City of Hayward website.

To find your City Council district, go to and enter your address in the District Locator Tool. You can learn more by visiting the Election page at Elections | City of Hayward - Official website.

Vote-by-Mail ballots cast by mail must be postmarked by Nov. 3 and received by Nov. 10. Use the pre-paid ballot return envelope that accompanied your ballot.
