Meet Locally with Your Lawmakers this August

When podiatric physicians get involved in local advocacy, lawmakers listen! Sharing real patient and practice stories brings the true impact of federal healthcare policy to life in ways lawmakers may not see in Washington. To help strengthen local advocacy and build relationships between Congress and our profession, APMA is encouraging members to "Walk the District" and meet with federal lawmakers in their states during this year's Congressional Recess, from August 10-28.

APMA has created a Walk the District 2026 resource page that will provide members with the materials and information to help them be successful in meeting locally with their members of Congress this August.

APMA staff is here to support you. Please email [email protected] for any questions.
