Activities of Secretary General in Washington, D.C., 8 9 January

United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres departed New York late on Wednesday, 8 January, to Washington, D.C., where, on Thursday, he attended the State Funeral for President Jimmy Carter at the invitation of the former President's family.

He returned to New York late on Thursday.
