Illinois State University proudly presents the inaugural Redbird Reflections Pop-Up Museum as part of the Founding Celebration Week, February 17-19, 2026. This new exhibit invites students, faculty, staff, alumni, and friends to engage with more than a century and a half of Redbird history.
Hosted by the Dr. Jo Ann Rayfield Archives in the Circus Room of the Bone Student Center, Redbird Reflections showcases archival treasures, historical artifacts, and stories that explores the University's legacy since its founding in 1857.

Location: Circus Room and Brown Ballroom, Bone Student Center
In addition to the museum displays, University Archivist April Anderson-Zorn will offer a series of history talks tied to the exhibit's themes. These brief presentations provide context and deeper insight into specific topics from the Archives' collections:

Thursday, February 19
These talks are scheduled throughout the museum hours and provide visitors with an engaging way to learn more about the people, traditions, and milestones that have shaped Illinois State's identity.
